Paper Drive - ongoing!
We now will be having a trailer in the parking lot on a permanent basis. This will allow for more regular drop-offs. Details:
• The truck will be open for drop-off on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month from 9:00 am - 10:30 am. When more volunteers are available drop off times will be extended.
• Paper can be accepted if it is:
o Bundled with twine
o Packed into a paper bag
o Packed into a cardboard box
o Cardboard boxes and food boxes must be broken down and flat!! Remember we get paid by the ton so the more we can pack into the truck the better. The paper drive is a great way to help the environment and also help different areas of the parish raise additional funds.
The paper drive can only be as successful as we make it. Please note the following items:
• Paper must be dropped off during the designated drop off times and can not be left outside of the trailer. If no one is there to receive your paper please do not leave it on the ground.
• Wet paper can not be accepted.
• Please try not to bring your paper goods in plastic bags!
• Help out if you can while the truck is open. Even if it is for just a few minutes.
